What's On! Saint Georges Fayre 2019
March St George's Fayre will be held on Sunday 28th April 2019. The town centre streets are pedestrianized creating space for a bustling street market and fun fair. The opening parade will take place at 10.00am in celebration of St George into the market place followed by live music and dance performances throughout the day. There is a wide variety of entertainment free of charge from Viking warriors to live magic!

The Parade consists of many performers and local groups. Such as - ATC, ELRiot, March Mummers, Pig Dyke Molly, Bourne Borderers, Ladies Netball (Ladybirds), Guides/Brownies, Westwood Primary School, Burrowmoor Primary School, 20Twenty, Scouts, McMillan, British Legion Riders Div, Royal British Legion, Vintage Cycles, March Soccer School, March Park Rangers, Cubs, March Park Run & Scooters.
On the stages we have - Opening by the Mayor, House Band, Westwood, Burrowmoor, All saints, Lucy Collins & 20Twenty.
There are also numerous hot food outlets & a Gin & Prosecco Truck 'The Gin & Fizz Stop' serving all day!
There are also Street Performances by Bourne Borderers, ElRiot, March Mummers, Pig Dyke Molly & Scooters.
What Happened At Saint Georges Fayre 2018
Sunday 22nd April 2018 saw the 10th St Georges Fayre held by March Town. The celebration consisted of many stalls, selling products from candles and bath bombs to fruit & home made baked goods! Refreshment stalls included a Hog Roast, Gin Truck & a BBQ stand which were loved by all! The parade, dancers and fancy dress competitors started the day off with a flying start and each of the stages throughout town provided a full day of spectaular entertainment from local bands.
What Happened At Saint Georges Fayre 2017
This is the towns 9th St George's Fayre, celebrating England’s patron saint. It will be held on Sunday, 23rd April 2017. The town centre will be pedestrianised, creating space for a bustling street market; fun fair; great food; fantastic live music and performances throughout the day. There will be Morris Dancers, a large Craft Market and an Art Exhibition.
The opening parade in celebration of St George will move from The Fountain, Broad Street and enter the Market Place in time for the official opening by the Mayor at 10.30am followed closely by the judging of the Fancy Dress Competition at 10.35am. Visitors to the Fayre looking for a fun packed day will not be disappointed. The following attractions have already been confirmed.
